There is a fine line, in living a free and abundant life in Christ. This fine line is seems to always come back to "transforming the world around you" vs. "being transformed by this world"... Far too many christians, think they have the sure footed ability to walk dangerously close to the edge of the former "sinful life" they once lived, in hopes to maintain relevance and friendships with those in previous relationships. Truth is, this requires a surer foot than I have, or many of us have for that matter... Take hold of the challenge in Romans 12:1-2 and be transformed by the renewing of your minds, and stop walking so dangerously close to the edge. Shine your light bright....for all to see... those in darkness will be attracted to you...and perhaps they will push their limit to walk closer to your line of holiness, versus, having you 'dumb down your faith" and "minimizing the power of God" to reach some. Beware of taking the apostle Paul's statement regarding, becoming all things to all people, out of context.

It is a priviledge and honor to serve the Lord at this Great Church. There is not a week that goes by that I don't reflect and thank the Lord for calling me to serve The North Pointe Church. I've had the pleasure of watching this church, birth in 2004... so many GOD SIZED things to recount... But perhaps the greatest most rewarding memory will be watching a church, shift from "trying to impress a community" to redirecting our efforts in "equipping our church family to Grow in an intimate relationship with God.
