to Velocity Student Ministries. Thanks for
checking out our site. We are excited about what God is doing and
is going to do in our Student Ministry. Our student ministry team
is all about building relationships with teenagers as they deepen
relationships with God and each other.
>> VELOCITY YOUTH NIGHT
If you are in 6th to 12th grade, and you sit at home watching TV on Thursday nights, then you are missing out! Every Thursday night from 6:30 to 8:30 we take over the church! Enjoy our live teen band, listen to a relevant message, and meet new friends in our small group time. Bring your friends and be a part of the heartbeat of the church!
>> SUNDAY MORNINGS
Jesus isn't boring and neither is a Sunday at The North Pointe Church.
Every week, our 6th-12th grade students join the rest of the church
family for worship in the main auditorium. Students are
given opportunities to use their gifts to serve in ministry and
are able to worship with their families on Sunday morning.
>> LIFE GROUPS
Life Groups are the best way to get connected and stay connected with God and your friends. Life Groups meet weekly during the summer months, and are small groups of students and caring adult leaders who meet throughout the week in homes around New Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Land O Lakes, and Temple Terrace.
>>SERVICE PROJECTS At least once a month, the student ministry
works together on a service project. This can range from a cookout
at a children’s home, serving meals to the homeless, participating
in a shoe drive for orphans in another country, or doing yard work
for a church member. Our teens love to serve and have a blast while
making a difference in their world.
